This trio was formed In early 2006 with the help and encouragement of Christian Westergaard the Danish organiser who runs the famous Jazz Concerts ”Hymns & Spirituals” at Sorgenfri Kirke just outside Copenhagen.
The intention of the trio was to play New Orleans Jazz as played by the George Lewis small groups of the 1940`s & 50`s. They achieved their ambition.
 

Ole Olsen is one of the finest George Lewis style clarinetists around.
He started playing the clarinet in the beginning of the 70’s, and was often heard in the streets and byways of Copenhagen.Since then Ole has played in many different relationships, he has always pleased the audiences and fellow musicians with his sensitive playing. Besides playing clarinet, Ole also plays fine New Orleans style bass and is the long standing bassist with one of Denmark`s most famous jazz bands : Papa Bue`s Viking Jazz Band.
 

Holden Fogh has played the string bass in different bands in the Copenhagen area since the 70’s.He has played, and still plays many different styles, like mainstream, swing, gospel, dixieland, and now New Orleans style. Each year Holden makes tours to Sweden and Europe which includes Ireland to play for the Famous ”Guinness Jazz Festival” in Cork.
 

Taff Lloyd from the UK,now resident in Denmark is more known for his fine New Orleans style drumming with many of the top class English, Scottish & Danish jazz bands. He has played banjo and guitar as his second instruments since the late 1950`s. During the 1960`s and the 1980`s he played with various different style groups in South Africa and on Sunday lunchtime`s during the whole of 1990`s he played banjo with Ed O`Donnell`s Funky Butt Jazzmen at the Eagle ”jazz pub” in Leeds, Yorkshire, England,UK.
